At Taringa Rovers Soccer Football Club (TRSFC), we are committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants. This policy outlines our expectations for behaviour and the processes in place to address any concerns. It aligns with the frameworks established by Football Queensland, Football Australia, and Sport Integrity Australia.

Players
Respect teammates, opponents, referees, and coaches. Play fairly and follow all rules of the game.
Parents and Guardians
Support your children in a positive way. Focus on effort and enjoyment, not just results. Show respect to referees, coaches, and other players.
Coaches
Provide a safe, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate environment. Follow the TRSFC Code of Conduct and FQ coaching guidelines.
Officials
Officiate with impartiality and uphold the rules and integrity of the game.
Spectators
Encourage players and teams positively. Do not criticise referees, coaches, or players. Abusive or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated.
We follow a structured approach to address breaches of conduct:
1. First Breach: Counselling to discuss the behaviour and expectations.
2. Second Breach: Possible suspension from games or club activities.
3. Third Breach: Potential removal from the club subject to committee review
TRSFC adheres to FQ's Three-Strike Policy aimed at eliminating poor behaviour, including referee abuse.Clubs accumulating three strikes may face further consequences from FQ.We are committed to preventing this by actively managing behaviour at all levels.
If you witness inappropriate behaviour, please report it within five days using our Incident Reporting Form. All reports are handled confidentially.

Our MPIO and Integrity Officer Unit are impartial contacts for concerns related to behaviour and safety.
Child safety is a core priority at TRSFC. All adults working with children—including coaches, volunteers, and committee members—must hold valid Blue Cards and follow communication protocols in accordance with FQ and FA child safeguarding standards.
Members are held accountable for their actions.Sanctions for unacceptable behaviour may include counselling, suspension, or expulsion, depending on the severity and frequency of the behaviour.
Information related to conduct breaches is kept confidential, except where disclosure is required to resolve the issue or comply with legal obligations.
This policy was approved by the TRSFC Committee and is reviewed annually to ensure alignment with FQ and FA guidelines.

Taringa Rovers Soccer Football Club Inc. (TRSFC) is committed to protecting the personal information of everyone who interacts with the Club.
We manage personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988, the Australian Privacy Principles and the privacy policies of Football Queensland (FQ) and Football Australia (FA).
This Policy explains how TRSFC collects, uses, stores and protects personal information relating to players, parents and guardians, volunteers, coaches, officials, committee members and any person involved in Club activities.
TRSFC may collect personal information including:
Name, address, contact details and date of birth
Gender, emergency contacts and relevant medical information
Blue Card or accreditation details
Registration, payment and membership information
Communications or correspondence with the Club
Photographs, video footage, match statistics or performance data
Information required for the safe and effective operation of Club programs

XPS (Sideline Sports) for performance, training and development data

TRSFC collects, holds and uses personal information to:
Register players, coaches, volunteers and officials with FQ and FA
Manage competitions, fixtures, programs and payments
Communicate with members, parents and guardians
Deliver training, performance and development programs
Meet insurance, safety, welfare and reporting obligations
Comply with FQ, FA and legal requirements
Promote the Club through approved communications and activities
TRSFC uses secure, password protected electronic systems to store and manage data.
Our primary platforms include:
Squadi and PlayFootball:registration and competition management
Majestri:membership and payments (hosted on Amazon Web Services in Australia)
TeamStack, Team App, XPS, Google Workspace and WhatsApp:communication, coordination, and performance analysis
Some providers may store or process information outside Australia, including within the European Union and other regions that apply comparable privacy protections such as the General Data Protection Regulation.
TRSFC takes reasonable steps to:
Use reputable and secure third party providers
Restrict access to authorised personnel
Protect data from misuse, loss, unauthorised access or disclosure
Personal information may be disclosed:
To FQ and FA for registration, insurance and competition management
To third party service providers listed above, only to support Club operations
When required or authorised by law
With consent, for Club communications, recognition or promotional purposes
TRSFC does not sell or rent personal information.
By registering with TRSFC, you consent to your information being transferred or stored overseas where necessary for Club operations. TRSFC takes reasonable steps to ensure providers maintain privacy standards consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Requests will be verified and responded to within a reasonable timeframe in line with APP 12 and APP 13.
Concerns about the handling of personal information should be directed in writing to the Club’s Member Protection Information Officer (MPIO) or Integrity Officers. If unresolved, the matter may be referred to Football Queensland under their Member Protection Policy. Further escalation can be made to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
TRSFC may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, FQ or FA requirements, or Club operations. The most current version will be available on the Club’s website.

CLUB MEMBERSHIP:
The person who is listed as the Primary Contact on a registration is deemed to be a member of the club for the purposes of voting and other matters under the Club's Constitution. If the Primary Contact wishes another person (who must be over 18 years) to be deemed the club member (eg for a junior registration), a request is to be sent in writing to secretary@taringarovers.com.au.
RIGHT TO PLAY:
I understand that no player on this registration will be allowed to take the field to play unless the registration has been completed, payment made in full (or a confirmed payment plan entered into) and an FFA PlayFootball registration has been completed. This includes any pre season game, fixture, friendly or match.
It is the responsibility of the person submitting the registration to ensure all steps for a valid registration have been done.

The TRSFC Holiday Clinic is an FQ-sanctioned activitydelivered under Taringa Rovers Soccer Football Club’s affiliation with Football Queensland. The clinic complies with the FQ Sanctioning Policy (2026), theFootball Australia Member Protection Policy, and associated FQ operational standards, including theHeat,Lightning, andCode of Conductpolicies.
Participation is contingent upon:
FQ sanction approval,
valid player registration in Squadi and/or PlayFootball, and
compliance with all FQ and FA regulations.
a. Clinic fee:$165 per participant (inc. GST), classified as aCommercial Eventunder the FQ Sanctioning Policy.
b. Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
c.Full paymentis required upon registration. Enrolment is not confirmed until payment and registration are complete.
d. Participants must register inSquadibefore attending. New participants must complete temporary registration under the relevant FQ “Club Program” or “Holiday Clinic” product to ensure insurance coverage.
e. TheFQ Commercial Event Sanction Fee ($3.30/player)is included in the total cost.
f. Failure to complete payment or registration before commencement will result in cancellation.
a. The clinic runs forthree consecutive mornings, 9:00 am–12:00 pm.
b. TRSFC may alter session times or format due to weather, field conditions, or FQ directives.
c. Attendance is the participant’s responsibility. Missed sessions will not be refunded or credited.
d. Weather interruptions are managed per theFQ Heat Policy (2023)andFQ Lightning Policy (2022).
e. TRSFC may offer, but is not obliged to provide, a make-up session.
a. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to theDirector of CoachingorTRSFC Treasurer.
b. Refunds are granted only in extenuating circumstances (e.g. verified injury or illness) and remain at TRSFC’s discretion.
c. Approved refunds incur a$30 processing fee.
d. No refunds are issued for change of mind, partial attendance, or weather-related cancellations compliant with FQ safety policies.
e. If FQ sanction approval is not granted or revoked, TRSFC will provide a full refund.
f. TRSFC may cancel or postpone the clinic for operational, safety, or compliance reasons. Liability is limited to refunding the participation fee.
a. Open to children in MiniRoos and youth football age groups (U6–U13).
b. All participants must:

Hold currentPlayFootballregistration, or
Complete the temporary registration process as directed by TRSFC.
c. TRSFC reserves the right to verify registration status. Unregistered participants cannot participate.
a. The clinic is covered byFootball Queensland’s insurance program, subject to each participant’s valid registration.
b. Participants acknowledge the inherent physical risks of football and accept full responsibility for their participation.
c. TRSFC, its officers, coaches, and volunteers are not liable for injury, loss, or damage except to the extent covered by Football Queensland’s insurance policy.
d. By enrolling, participants (or guardians) release TRSFC and its representatives from all claims arising from participation, except where otherwise required by law.
a. All TRSFC staff, coaches, and volunteers hold validWorking with Children (Blue Card)clearances and are recorded in Squadi.
b. TRSFC complies with theFootball Australia Member Protection Frameworkand maintains a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment.

TRSFC may amend these Terms to maintain compliance with Football Queensland and Football Australia policies. Updates will be published on the TRSFC website.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Queensland courts.
