Player Development Clinics

Development Clinic Term 2, 2026

Our clinics are delivered by paid coaches, providing consistent and professional instruction for every player.

Sessions take place in a safe, supportive and enjoyable environment where players are encouraged to learn, develop and most importantly enjoy the game.

Our experienced Head of Juniors oversees all sessions and monitors coaching standards to ensure players receive high-quality guidance throughout the program.

The clinic runs for six weeks during the school term and is suitable for players of all ability levels. Sessions focus on developing individual skills to build confidence with the ball. Players will work on key areas including ball mastery, running with the ball, 1v1 situations, first touch and striking.

Each session concludes with small-sided mini matches, giving players the opportunity to apply what they have learned in a fun and game-based environment.

All participants must be enrolled in Squadi and registered with PlayFootball to take part.

Junior Player Development Strategy

Taringa Rovers Soccer FC

Welcome to Taringa Rovers Soccer Football Club, where our focus is on providing local children with a joyful and skillful football experience. Our junior development program prioritizes the growth of young players as individuals and as a team, without compromising our commitment to serving the local community.

We offer a controlled and enjoyable environment for children to develop their footballing skills, starting from the preparatory and small-sided phases of football. This nurturing approach paves the way for both homegrown players to thrive at elite junior levels, such as FQ Academy,  while also welcoming and supporting local social players. Our ultimate goal is to instill a love for football and Taringa Rovers that they will carry with them into adulthood. Join us on this exciting journey of football discovery and growth!
